If you know me, you know I’ve photographed all over Roatán—from West Bay to hidden gems most people never even find. But even as a full-time photographer here, there are still a few locations on this island that I am dying to shoot at. And let me tell you… these spots are next-level.
First up is Arca Roatán. This place is pure magic. Think eco-luxury meets jungle vibes with insane architecture and natural textures everywhere. It’s the kind of location that doesn’t even need much styling—the backdrop does all the work. I can already picture a dreamy couples session or even an editorial-style shoot here.
Then there’s Naboo Roatán—and WOW. This place screams luxury. Clean lines, modern design, and those ocean views? Unreal. This is the kind of spot where I’d go all in on a high-end flying dress session or a sleek, stylish couples shoot. Total magazine vibes.
Paya Bay Resort has also been high on my list. It’s more secluded, more raw, and gives you that untouched Caribbean feel. If you want something that feels intimate and a little wild (in the best way), this is it. Perfect for adventurous couples who want something different from the typical beach shoot.
And then… Camp Bay Beach. This is one of the most beautiful beaches on the entire island, hands down. Soft sand, clear water, and way less crowded than West Bay. Sunrise or sunset sessions out here would be absolute perfection—wide open, peaceful, and just insanely pretty.
Another spot I’ve been wanting to shoot at is The Meridian at Lighthouse Point. This place is such a vibe—tucked away, peaceful, and surrounded by some of the most insane turquoise water and ironshore coastline. It’s got that quiet luxury feel without being overdone. Perfect for romantic, intimate sessions with a mix of rugged and refined backdrops.
Lastly—and this one is a BIG one for me—I am dying to photograph a wedding at Puerto Azul Roatán. If you haven’t seen it yet, go look it up. It’s one of the most stunning venues on the island. Elegant, beachfront, and built for those luxury destination weddings. This is the kind of place where everything just comes together—views, vibes, and unforgettable moments.
Roatán is full of incredible locations, but these are the ones currently living rent-free in my head. So if you’re planning a trip, a couples session, a flying dress shoot, or especially a wedding at Puerto Azul… just know I am READY.
